How does the water ring vacuum pump work

Before starting, the water ring vacuum pump body is filled with an appropriate amount of water as the working fluid. When the impeller rotates the brick, the water is thrown around by the impeller. Due to the centrifugal force, the water is pumped to the wall of the pump body to form a closed ring of approximately equal thickness depending on the shape of the pump cavity. The surface is tangent to the wheel housing. The inner surface of the lower half of the water ring forms a gas chamber with the wheel housing. The volume of the air chamber is increasing in the right half. In the first half circle, a vacuum is formed as the volume between the wheel housing and the water ring increases. Therefore, the air is sucked into the vacuum pump through the suction pipe and the inlet of the vacuum pump casing, and the air is compressed as the volume between the wheel casing and the water ring is reduced, and the small cavity changes greatly. Small, the gas is compressed; when the small chamber communicates with the exhaust port, the gas is discharged outside the pump.
The working principle of the water ring vacuum pump is mainly to create a vacuum chamber through the internal water ring and the impeller to extract the internal gas for work. The form of the water ring pumping can greatly improve the working efficiency, which is convenient for us to work.
